Rachel Gillooly (Program Coordinator)
... has extensive experience working with associations, not-for-profit, health agencies, government and corporate groups. An innovative and creative idea person, she has guided clients' budget development, successfully sourced revenue and implemented funding strategies. As result of working on projects of varying scopes and parameters, Rachel has planned and implemented volunteer training programs, written successful funding applications, supervised and hired staff and advised voluntary boards and committees on logistics planning and program implementation. Rachel has been a full-time resident of Haliburton County for more than 12 years and was also the first executive director of the Haliburton Highlands Trails and Tours Network and is thrilled to be working locally again!
Elisha Barlow (Administrative Assistant)
... Elisha has an Honours degree in Visual Arts from the University of Western Ontario and a certificate in Fibre Arts from Fleming College - The Haliburton School of The Arts. She lives on her small, family-run eco-farm in Minden and is continually inspired by the active environmental and arts communities within the Highlands. Her previous position was as a joint intern for the Minden Hills Cultural Centre and Yours Outdoors where she served as an experience package guide involved in program development, volunteer program development, management and recruitment, marketing support and as a general administration assistant.

Did You Know...
As of August 2009, 7 new species that have been identified in Haliburton County have been added to the Ontario government's Species at Risk list. Chimney Swift and Whip-poor-will are now listed as Threatened. Snapping Turtle, Common Nighthawk, Olive-sided Flycatcher, Canada Warbler and Bald Eagle are listed as Special Concern.
