A Celebration of Norah
On a cold, wet July 14 that felt more like autumn about a hundred people crossed the waters of Kennisis Lake to join a celebration on Norah's Island. The occasion was the signing of an agreement between the Haliburton Highlands Land Trust and the Kennisis Lake Cottage Owners' Association (KLCOA) to manage the island, which was donated to the Land Trust by Bruce Carruthers to honour his late wife.
