Land Trust on the Air!

The Land Trust took to the air on Haliburton's community radio station, Canoe FM, on Friday, July 13, 2007, to talk about Norah's Island. Roxanne Casey (centre) interviewed Land Trust chair Ian Daniel and Jeff Pinkney, chair of the lands committee of the Kennisis Lake Cottage Owners' Association. The celebration of the island's transfer to the Trust took place the next day so Daniel and Pinkney talked about that and about the workings of a Land Trust. Nick Bronson was the engineer for the program. To listen to the full interview, courtesy of Canoe FM, press the "Listen" button to listen on either a Flash Player or a Quicktime Player.
