Dive into the hidden world of aquatic life by learning more about the fascinating creatures that live on the bottom of freshwater streams and ponds. Join U-Links Coordinator Frank Figuli and some HHLT team members as we explore Barnum Creek to collect, observe, and identify these important biological indicators of water quality. You’ll learn how to safely sample, use identification tools, and understand what these organisms can tell us about the health of our ecosystems.
Welcome to all ages, but make sure to bring your rubber boots!
Please meet at the Barnum Creek Nature Reserve trailhead on Saturday, June 21, at 3:00 PM.
