Event Registration: May 6th – Wild Leeks, Edibles, and Spring Wildflowers

Saturday, May 6th, 2017  10:00 am – 12:00 pm


Explore the woods at Abbey Gardens and forage for wild edibles with food foresters Carolyn Langdon and Belinda Gallagher. We’ll hike the trails and learn about sustainable harvesting of leeks and other forest edibles, and then come back to the kitchen to taste some homemade potato & leek soup. (Other foods will be available for purchase, too.)

Cost: $5 per person, includes soup
Location: Abbey Gardens, 1012 Garden Gate Dr., Haliburton (off Hwy 118 West of Haliburton)
