We are pleased to announce a fundraising concert with local entertainer and land trust supporter Thom Lambert.
The concert will be held on Saturday, August 1st from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Great Hall, Haliburton School of Arts and Design.
Featuring original, locally-brewed songs with a unique flavour: Thom is inspired to write about beauty, small kindnesses, and whisky, sometimes all in the same song. Delivered with a powerful voice that can purr or growl, his observations and stories are delivered with equal parts reverence and wit.
He is an avid naturalist, adventurer, and community music organizer with a deep commitment to the power of music in our daily lives. “I believe that we are at our best when we are creating. Making music together – around campfires, in the kitchen, or on the stage - is one of the most accessible forms of creation available to us.”
A link to the ticket system will be available soon. All donations will go to the Campbell property campaign to see if we can raise the remaining funds needed to make our goal.
Don’t wait, seats are limited!
