Sunday February 15, 10:00 am – 12:00 noon
Where: Haliburton Outdoors Association Fish Hatchery
We will begin inside where we will have a chance to learn about how animals move and what their tracks look like through a hands-on activity. Heading outside, we will become wildlife detectives by using our observation skills and our booklets to find evidence of wildlife including tracks, scat, chews and nests! We will end the day making our own animal prints to take home! This event is best suited for children 5 to 12 years old and must have adult accompaniment. Dress for the weather. This free event is partially funded by TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, with thanks to Abbey Gardens for the use of materials and booklets. Registration is required as there are limited spaces and craft supplies for this fun workshop.; donations are welcome.
Cost : Admission by donation.
