Land Trust Discovery Days - Fantastic Fungi
Take a deep-dive into Barnum Creek Nature Reserve with naturalist, outdoor writer and mega mushroom nerd @stevie_funfur for a morning mushroom hunting adventure!
Along with HHLT volunteers, the group will head out into the forest to observe and discuss whatever mushrooms nature has popping that day. Come see the incredible fungal diversity of our central Ontario forests up close!
A reminder that harvesting of any type is not permitted on any HHLT properties.
What to bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, curiosity, and readiness for outdoor learning. Includes walking & hiking on uneven terrain in the forest.
Duration: Approx. 2hs
